The answer should always be "NO"
Always ask for your lawyer!
Are you or someone you know under threat of arrest, have you or anyone you know been
accused of a crime, or are you or anyone you know under suspicion for a Washington State
or federal offense? If you answer yes to any of these questions then you have a serious
problem. It is important that you begin your defense immediately give me a call for a no
obligation assessment of your situation. This is because if you decide to hire me it will give
me the opportunity to build the strongest possible case on your behalf. That is the wise thing
If you are arrested what you say could permanently damage your case. Exercise your
constitutional right to remain silent. Call me and I will speak on your behalf, that preserves
your constitutional rights.
A crime, less serious than a felony, punishable by no more than one year in jail. Petty theft
(of articles worth less than a certain amount), first-time drunk driving and leaving the scene of
an accident are all common misdemeanors.
Felony is a crime which involves a potential punishment of one year or longer in prison or
death. For example, murder, extortion and kidnapping are felonies. Keeping it simple, if the
punishment for the crime charged is more than a year that’s felony.
A court appearance in which the defendant is formally charged with a crime and asked to
respond by pleading guilty, not guilty or nolo contendere. Other matters often handled at the
arraignment are arranging for the appointment of a lawyer to represent the defendant and
the setting of bail.
SAY NO TO DRUGS!
Most addicts are in denial and will do anything not to face their addictions, help is foreign in their dictionary
because to seek help is to admit the addiction.
There's hope, because I believe people do change, there's always a turning point, a point when family
matters, a point when self dignity becomes paramount, a point when there's more to life than living on the
streets like an animal.
If you have gotten to that stage and you need help, there are tons of people who are ready to help you
reclaim your rightful place in society.
